President Profit First?
A trio of investigative reports from The Washington Post, The New York Times and the Boston Globe paint an unflattering picture of Romney's tenure as co-founder and head of the venture capital firm Bain Capital. Their respective takes focused on Bain's early engagement in outsourcing jobs overseas, how Bain reaped revenues from failing companies and a deal between the firm and disgraced junk bond king Michael Milken shortly before he received a 22-month prison sentence. Each raises the question of whether Romney would put businesses or voters first.
