It’s been a week since Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan won re-election but his chief opponent still will not concede. In addition, retired Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (pictured) refuses to congratulate Jonathan until the results in 11 states in the south and southeast are subjected to forensic analysis, allAfrica.com reports. The West African nation is largely divided on religious lines. Buhari, a Muslim from the north won all of the northern states, while Jonathan, a Christian from the south won most of the southern states.
