The 21-year-old victor won a cash prize worth $2,200 and trips to India and Mecca.
Nigerian contestant Obabiyi Aishah Ajibola took home the crown at this year's World Muslimah, a beauty pageant for Muslims started in 2010 in response to the Miss World contest.
After several days of events, including an Islamic fashion show, the 21-year-old beat out 20 finalists from Bangladesh, Iran, Malaysia, Nigeria and Brunei, who were selected from more than 500 online applicants.
All contestants were required to wear their hijabs.
"We're just trying to show the world that Islam is beautiful," Ajibola told AFP. "We are free and the hijab is our pride."
She was awarded a cash prize worth $2,200 and trips to India and Mecca.
