Asia's Struggle
Based on population, Asia and the Pacific Islands reported hunger rates at 578 million people in 2010, the highest rates of hunger in the world. The rate was exacerbated by flooding and waterlogging following monsoons and other severe weather conditions. (Source: World Hunger Education Service)
