Situation Gaza: Tension Mounts as Israel Plans Settlement

Amid the turmoil between Israel and Palestine, the United Nations voted to formally recognize Palestine as a non-member observer state. While Palestinians cheered the recognition of statehood, Israel rejected the move and announced plans to withhold more than $100 million owed to the Palestinian government.
