“Patriots” Stand Watch

Even in the wake of a unilateral ceasefire  adopted by Seleka, supporters of President Francois Bozizé set up roadblocks in the capital in efforts to stop any eventual rebel incursion.

Reports say the men building the barricades describe themselves as "patriots” and are stopping vehicles and questioning occupants in a search for rebels. (Photo: SIA KAMBOU/AFP/Getty Images)
