Pastor Solomon Male and Reverend Thomas Musoke chose the burial ground of slain Ugandan gay rights activist David Kato as the site for their gay hate march on March 31, 2013. About 100 people joined them to lament the government’s failing to pass the Anti-Homosexuality Bill. Uganda’s gay advocates have speculated that Male, Musoke and other anti-gay leaders are funded by U.S. evangelical groups to preach homophobia.
