The Humanitarian Who Inspired - Sergio Vieira de Mello, the U.N. envoy killed in the 2003 Baghdad attack was posthumously awarded a U.N. Prize in the field of human rights for his extensive efforts in humanitarian programs. Before his death, de Mello was considered a likely candidate for U.N. Secretary-General.
