American Parents Sentenced for Adopted Child’s Death

Matthew and Grace Huang were sentenced to three years in prison by a Qatar court for the death of their adopted daughter, Gloria, 8. She succumbed to an eating disorder she developed as a child living in Ghana, according to her adopted parents. Huang’s family believes the verdict was harsh and is based on the fact they are Asian couple with Black children. (Photo: Osama Faisal/AP Photo)
