South African Newspaper Caught in Tweet Trouble

South African newspaper The Times got itself into a swirl of trouble when the paper erroneously tweeted that Nelson Mandela was hospitalized, based on an unconfirmed tweet by a local radio DJ.

"Former president Nelson Mandela is in hospital, according to reports. Watch this space for more information,” the original tweet read. Mandela was, in fact, fine at his home in Qunu.
