Italy Seizes Gadhafi’s Assets

Italy seized more than $1.5 billion in assets controlled by the family of slain Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi.

The seizure included stakes in top companies, land and a Harley Davidson. A commission at the International Criminal Court requested the assets be seized in connection with an investigation on Gadhafi's son, Saif al-Islam, and his former intelligence chief, Abdullah Senussi, also a brother-in-law to the late Libyan leader.
