Niger’s President Says “It Was Not Necessary to Kill Gadhafi”

In an interview with Al Jazeera, Niger President Mahmadou Issoufou discussed the current tide of unrest sweeping across the African continent and said Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi’s downfall contributed to the simmering tensions in neighboring Niger.
