South Africa Pushes Oil Industry to Increase Black Ownership

After an audit of the Liquid Fuels Charter showed that the nation’s major oil firms are woefully behind their goal ratio of 25 percent Black ownership, the South African government issued a strong message: diversify your shareholder base or risk a shut down.
