Global Week in Review: United Nations Upgrades Palestine

Recently re-elected Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez announced by letter that he was travelling to Cuba for hyperbaric oxygenation therapy, a treatment designed to reduce radiation therapy-induced bone decay. Chavez was diagnosed with cancer last year and has declared himself cancer-free several times since his initial diagnosis.
