Williams Sisters Compete at French Open

Venus Williams was defeated in the first round after a lengthy match against the much lower-ranked Urszula Radwanska of Poland. Serena emerged victorious, making her way to the third round after beating French competitor Caroline Garcia. The sisters were also scheduled to compete together for their third French Open doubles win, but pulled out before the first match.
