African Warlord Joseph Kony Poaches Elephants for Resources

To finance their weapons, ammunition and food, Joseph Kony and his Lord's Resistance Army militia have been killing elephants for ivory, according to a recent report. "Governments in Asia and elsewhere who fail to regulate the illegal ivory trade share responsibility for atrocities committed by the LRA and other armed groups engaged in poaching," Kasper Agger, a co-author of the report, told CNN.
