Qatari Ruler to Hand Over Power to Son

Qatar ruler Sheik Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani has announced his decision to step down from power, transferring power to his 33-year-old son. The 61-year-old ruler, credited for transforming a tiny Persian Gulf nation into an economic powerhouse, will address his subjects on Tuesday morning.
