Watchdogs Blast Australian PM for PNG Aslyum Deal

Australian Prime Minister Paul Rudd has come under fire for signing and defending a deal to redirect asylum-seekers arriving by boat to Papa New Guinea. The developing nation will receive Australian investment, reported BBC News. Amnesty International has condemned the announcement as "the day Australia decided to turn its back on the world's most vulnerable people."
