Nigerians Contest Senate’s Backing of Underage Marriage

The Senate’s approval of underage marriage was criticized by Bisi Fayemi, the wife of the Ekiti State governor, because it will limit females’ access to education. Fayemi is urging women to speak out and reject the Senate's action.
