India Teams Up With Mozambique for Oil and Billions

Hoping to boost India’s energy needs, the country’s oil giant, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation, has agreed to a deal to purchase a 10 percent stake in a gas field offshore Mozambique for $2.64 billion. "The country is starving for gas, for our power development and any other development," A.K. Srinivasan, ONGC's group general manager for finance, told Reuters.
