Kenya Deepens Its Ties With China

Kenya has signed a $5 billion deal with China. The money would be spent on energy projects and the construction of a railway system linking the port of Mombasa in the east, to the town of Malaba in the west. It is meant to provide faster access from Kenya's ports to its markets in the region.
