Couple Drives From Spain to Ghana for Breast Cancer Awareness

Claudia Maccioni 31, a breast cancer survivor, accompanied by her husband, drove from Barcelona through Niger, Mali, Senegal, Gambia, Burkina Faso and finally arrived in Ghana on Friday, to urge women to seek early treatment when diagnosed with breast cancer which kills one woman every 60 seconds globally. Maccioni has already raised $13,600 to support activities of the Breast Care International organization.
