Volcano Spews More Hot Ash, Lava in East Indonesia

Six people were killed on a small Indonesian island when a volcano released hot ash and lava onto the area over the weekend. The victims were among more than 500 residents who had refused to leave last year. A local volcanologist said that Mount Rokatenda remains on high alert.
