Syrian Clerics Say People Can Eat Cats and Dogs

In attempts to counteract starvation in besieged Damascus suburbs during the Muslim festival of Eid al-Adha, the Syrian government issued a fatwa or ruling permitting people to eat dogs, cats and donkeys.
