Death in Qatar Sparks Concerns for Migrant Workers

The Arab state of Qatar, which is due to host the 2022 World Cup, came into sharp focus this week for all the wrong reasons. Following the death of a 29-year-old construction worker who suffered a heart attack, reports surfaced detailing the “inhumane” work conditions and practices of many of the country’s migrant workers, according to Amnesty International
