Africa Gets First Underwater Hotel

Accommodation for tourists in Africa has taken a new twist; Tanzania has become the first country in the region to boast of an underwater hotel room. The three-story Manta Resort on Pemba Island was built by Swedish developers Genberg Underwater Hotels and is situated on a floating island.  Guests are treated to views of the amazing marine life in the Indian Ocean.
