Cuba Shuts Down Private Cinemas and Gaming Venues

In attempts to restore “order” in management of independent businesses, the Cuban government has shut down all private cinemas and gaming salons. According to reports, private cinemas had become a popular alternative to poorly maintained, state-run movie theaters that shy away from showing Hollywood and other mainstream films.
