Democracy Still a Long Way Off for Zimbabwe

Despite a new constitution, human rights abuses continue in Zimbabwe, according to global rights watchdog Amnesty International.  

A recent Amnesty report — "Zimbabwe: Agenda for the Government 2013-2018" — claims arbitrary violence against activists and the arrest of members of civic groups remains a serious problem.
