A Personal Plea to Obama for Freedom

A letter drafted from the confines of a dingy prison cell in Cuba has made its way to the White House. The appeal for help was penned by Alan Gross, an American-Jewish contractor who was detained by Cuban officials four years ago. Gross has described the condition in which he is being held as “horrific.”
