Congo Signs Peace Deal With M23 Rebel Forces

After more than one year of battle, the Democratic Republic of Congo's government signed a peace deal with the M23 rebel movement in Kenya on Dec. 12. The agreement, which is two parts, confirmed that the M23 armed group has dissolved and there will be no amnesty for those involved in war crimes.
