Syria Rebels Free 50 Captives from Al-Qaeda-Linked Fighters

Syrian rebels freed 50 captives on Monday in Raqqa, where Al-Qaeda linked fighters are based, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. One of the captives was a Turkish photographer who was held hostage since mid-December. The rebels continue to fight to oust President Bashar al-Assad. (Photo: Ammar Abdullah/Reuters)
