Ex-US Virgin Islands Official Charged in Tax Evasion

Louis Willis, the former director of the U.S. Virgin Islands’ Internal Revenue Bureau, has turned himself in to authorities and has been charged with tax evasion. Willis and Gerard Castor, the owner of Balbo Construction, are accused of owing $2.9 million of understated tax returns.
