800 Workers Chased From Mine by Gunmen

About 800 workers were forced from the Taoudenie salt mine in Bakamo, Mali, by eight gunmen, the Associated Press reported Sunday. The armed men did not identify themselves according to a worker who reported the incident. Many fled to Timbuktu after the incident.  (Photo: Finbarr O'Reilly / Reuters)
