Akon to Bring Electricity to Homes in Africa

Singer Akon, whose parents are Senegalese, is using millions of his own dollars to help light millions of homes in Africa by the end of 2014. His campaign, “Akon Lighting Africa,” launched this month. He is partnering with Give1 Project, ADS Global Corporation and solar energy companies.
