Sudan Release Woman on Death Row for Apostasy

Meriam Ibrahim, 27, a Sudanese woman was released from death row and reunited with her husband and two children on Monday. Her sentence was canceled by a Khartoum court. Ibrahim was born to a Muslim father and Christian mother and was convicted of apostasy for marrying a Christian man.
