Obama Announces Government Aid for Africa’s Electrification

President Obama said Tuesday the U.S. government will provide $12 billion in aid for Africa’s electrification program Power Africa. This funding will add 30,000 megawatts to the continent’s infrastructure that will power at least 60 million households and businesses, the Washington Post writes.
