The South Has Worst Heart Health in the Nation

Not only does the South bear the brunt of the obesity crisis, it also has the worst heart health, says a new study from the CDC. Most specifically, Oklahoma, West Virginia and Mississippi ranked the worst, while Washington D.C, Connecticut and Virginia ranked the best. But overall, regardless of where we live, heart health is still an issue.

Researchers also found that only 3 percent of all Americans have ideal heart health and 10 percent have poor health, wrote WebMD.
