Eating meals at the table with the fam has many benefits, including increasing kids’ fruit and veggie intake, says a new study. Researchers looked at 2,389 elementary school students and found that 63 percent of the kids in the study didn't eat the recommended five portions of fruits and vegetables every day. But the ones who sat and ate meals with their family ate more fruits and veggies a day than those who didn’t.
