Food Safety and Recalls

The FDA recalled more than 100 peanut-based products from Trader Joe’s, Wal-Mart, Target and Whole Foods when more than 40 people got sick this past fall. Cantaloupes, spinach, smoked salmon, ground beef, Frosted Mini-Wheats and ricotta cheese were pulled off the shelves this year, as well.
