Military Still Discriminates Against Married Gay Couples

Just because Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell is gone doesn’t mean that LGBT discrimination is. A recent New York Times feature profiles the difficulties that gay and lesbian couples in the military face in accessing health care and other important benefits. One such couple includes an African-American lesbian couple that was denied entrance into a support group for married couples seeking counseling.
