Nurse Sues Michigan Hospital Over Racial Bias

A Black nurse is suing the Hurley Medical Center in Flint, Michigan, for racial discrimination. She claims that a white father demanded that a white nurse be reassigned to his child, writes WNEM.com. The hospital denies any wrongdoing, yet the nurse claims there was a note in the patient’s file that stated, “No African-American nurse to take care of baby.”
