Low-Income Southerners Less Likely to Have Insurance

With many GOP-ran Southern states denying Obamacare’s Medicaid expansion, a new study found the residents in these states are more likely to have delays in seeing doctors. The states with the worst delays are Texas and Florida, wrote Health Day News. In addition, researchers found that that delays in care are also due to the lack of primary doctors in the region.
