Child Neglect Increases Suicide Risk Among Teens

A recent study found that teens who have been taken out of their homes by authorities during their childhood were two times more likely to have multiple suicide attempts, reported Science Daily. Researchers from St. Michael's Hospital in Ontario, Canada, also found that female teens were more likely to repeat suicidal behavior compared to boys and mental health disorders also raised their risk.
