1 in 10 Kids Diagnosed With ADHD

A new CDC study suggests that 6.4 million kids between the ages 4 to 17 have been diagnosed with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). That’s a 53 percent increase over the past 10 years. Boys bear the biggest brunt with 19 percent being diagnosed with ADHD in their lifetime, says HealthDay News. Also, two-thirds of those diagnosed are taking treatment for it.
