Texting Programs to Help Teens in Crisis

Texting programs for teens seem to be all the rage for nonprofit organizations that want to expand their reach to those in crisis, the Associated Press reported. From Planned Parenthood to LGBT group the Trevor Project to Do Something, these youth-oriented groups believe that texting is a more reliable and faster way to help kids who may need immediate help.
