Black Women and HIV

The good news: New infections among Black women went down almost 20 percent in 2010. Yet this disease still disproportionately affects us, especially those 15-29, compared to their white counterparts. One in 32 Black women will test HIV-positive in her life and we are 15 times more likely than white women to test positive.
