43 Percent of Teens Text While Driving

At the Pediatric Academic Societies (PAS) annual meeting in Washington, D.C., researchers from the Cohen Children's Medical Center of New York presented data that showed that 43 percent of high school teens texted while driving in the past year. Texting behind the wheel can raise your risk of getting into an accident by 23 percent, which is more dangerous than drunk driving, reported Science Daily.
