Are Autistic Black Kids Missing Out on Special Services?

Researchers from Massachusetts General Hospital for Children found that Black and Latino children with autism were less likely to access special services — gastroenterologists, neurologists, psychiatrists and screening tests — compared to their white counterparts. Their recent study suggests that minority children are not receiving the care that they need and that more outreach is needed, reported HealthDay News
