New Documentary on Black Students in Autism Debuts

Best Kept Secret, a documentary about Janet Mino, a Newark, New Jersey, teacher preparing her mostly Black and Latino autistic high school students for graduation, is getting rave reviews, the Washington Post wrote. Even Newark’s Mayor Cory Booker makes a cameo in the film as well. The film is currently on the film festival circuit now. Watch the trailer here.
