Underage Drinking Differs by Race - A new study found that while 37 percent of 8-year-olds (second graders) have tasted alcohol, only 18 percent of Black kids that age had. And “at age 11, 36 percent of Black children were light drinkers compared with 57 percent of white kids,” reported the Huffington Post.
